Shri Y Daniel, Driver Gr I, Superannuated...

The Central Excise Employees' Recreation Club, Visakhapatnam on 31.10.2011, has felicitated Shri Y.Daniel, Driver Grade I of Division III who attained superannuation on this day. Shri Y Daniel has served the department for about 35 and half years.


Shri M.Ponnuswamy, Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax, Visakhapatnam - I Commissionerate has presided over the function. In his address, the Commissioner has said that an organisation is like a family and each employee is a member of that large family. Contribution of an employee, in whatever capacity, be appreciated.  On a quick observation from the speech of Kum Honey Bualah, daughter of Shri Y.Daniel, the Commissioner has appreciated the value based upbringing of children by Shri Y Daniel.


Shri S.Umashankar Goud, Deputy Commissioner of Central Excise, Division III, Kum Y.Honey Bualah, Smt Y.Kalavathy wife of Shri Y Daniel, also spoke on the occasion. Representatives of various Employees' Associations have garlanded the outgoing officer.

Shri G.Suryanarayana, General Secretary of Gr D Association was master of ceremony for the event.  All the members of the Club have extended their greetings to the outgoing officer.

On the occasion of superannuation of Shri Y Daniel, Driver Division III, our Recreation Club is conducting a Felicitation cum Farewell Function at the Customs HRD Hall at 4.00pm on 31.10.11.

Therefore, all the members of the club are cordially invited to participate in the function and make it a touching farewell

On 30th August, 11, the Recreation Club has organised a farewell-cum-felicitation to two of its officers who are attaining superannuation.  Smt B.Mathaji, Superintendent of Central Excise and Sri. K.G.Chandramouleeswara Rao, Head Hawaldar of Central Excise were felicitated by the Officers in the Customs HRD Hall, Custom House, Visakhapatnam  

Shri. M.Ponnuswamy, Commissioner of Central Excise, Customs & Service Tax of Visakhapatnam-I whose brain-child is the Recreation Club, was the Chief Guest of the function.  While delivering keynote address, the Commissioner commended the retiring officers for their spotless long innings in the department. He had later handed over mementos and their retirement benefits. Sri. S.Sujit, Superintendent, Sri G.Suryanarayana, Genereal Secretary of the Gr 'D' Association spoke.  Deputy Commissioner, Div-III and Assistant Commissioner Div-I, have also attended the function.  All the colleagues of the retiring officers expressed their best wishes to the retiring officers. The entire ceremony was mastered by Sri. F.A.Cooper, Superintendent of Central Excise.
